Description
It is quite common to have occasional WiFi stability issues, in retail or similar settings, due to how many other wireless networks are in your area. Even cordless phones and microwaves can interfere with network stability.
Depending where you mount your displays, and how your network is configured, it may be too far to use the less congested 5GHz band. Typically 5GHz doesn’t reach as far as 2.4GHz and the 2.4 band is very congested. Similar to how you are able to hear subwoofers and low frequency sounds much further away than other frequencies.
As such you may experience content delays, or Live Streaming video interruptions.
We recommend ethernet adapters in all situations where there isn’t too much effort to run a cable. They tend to be 100% stable. If you are already running cabling for power, then you may wish to do the same with networking. CAT5e cabling is very inexpensive.
Another popular alternative is using Power-line Adaptors to leverage existing electrical wiring and convert it to ethernet. It is additional cost and setup, but may be a viable option.
